Giant Olives

The large, fleshy Giant Olives come from the southern Italian province of Puglia. The harvest starts in November and, like most other olives, they have to undergo a fermentation process of approx. 60 days, when they are soaked in brine. This process removes the bitter taste and makes the olives ready to eat. We have chosen not to pit our giant olives in order to guarantee you a crisp taste sensation.

These olives are typically enjoyed as a snack for appetizers or as part of the Italian Antipasto. Due to their fleshiness, the giant olives can also be used to make homemade green olive tapenade.
