Rice paper roll with prawns and pointed cabbage

  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 100 g sugar snap peas
  • 6 spring onions
  • 12 pieces of rice paper
  • 4-5 dl. finely chopped pointed cabbage
  • 1 jar Svansø Sandwich Spread with curry and carrot
  • 250 g prawns
  • Serve with soy sauce stirred with a little lemon juice


1. Cut the carrots into very thin strips or grate them coarsely.

2. Cut the peppers and sugar snap peas into long thin strips.

3. Cut the spring onions in half and split them lengthwise.

4. Soak rice paper in cold water, 1 sheet at a time (finish one roll before soaking the next sheet of rice paper).

5. Spread some pointed cabbage in an oblong strip in the middle of the soaked rice paper and place the Sandwich Spread on top.

6. Arrange the peppers, carrots, spring onions and prawns on top of the pointed cabbage.

7. Fold in the ends, then roll up the rice paper.

8. Continue until all sheets of rice paper are rolled.

9. If you like, serve the rice paper rolls with soy sauce mixed with lemon juice.
