Product information

Organic hazelnuts, like other nuts, are very rich in unsaturated fat and carbohydrates. This is one of the reasons why hazelnuts have been part of the staple diet since the Stone Age. Hazelnuts grow wild in Denmark, so there is also the possibility of picking hazelnuts yourself and getting them fresh in the September season. - Oct.

  • Used in baked goods, desserts, homemade muesli and in salads
  • Roasting them briefly in a dry frying pan brings out their flavour
  • Very good with port wine and cheese
