Chili Cheese burger with chipotle mayo

  • 700g grated cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 finely chopped green chillies or to taste
  • 4 eggs
  • Panko rasp
  • Oil for deep frying.
  • 1/2 glass pickled jalapenos
  • 4 burger buns
  • Crispy salad
  • Tomato
  • Minced steak


1. Melt the cheese over a water bath.

2. Mix the chopped chili pieces with the cheese and pour into a dish lined with cling film.

3. Place the dish in the freezer for approx. 30 min.

4. Use an appropriately sized cookie cutter to cut out the cheese slices, then double fry in egg and panko breadcrumbs.

5. Then deep-fry the slices in not too hot oil (approx. 140-150 degrees) until the steaks are crispy and golden.

6. Spread chipotle mayonnaise on both the top and bottom bun.

7. Now assemble the burger with lettuce, sliced tomato, pickled jalapenos, steak and the fried cheese.
