Grissini sticks with aioli dip

  • 3 dl lukewarm water
  • 10 g yeast
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. flake salt
  • 375 g wheat flour
  • Serving suggestions:
  • Svansø Aioli


OBS! The dough is kneaded in a mixer.

1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.

2. Add the olive oil and salt. Add the wheat flour little by little and knead the dough until smooth and supple at medium speed.

3. Cover the bowl with a cloth and leave the dough to rise for 1 hour.

4. Turn the dough out onto a table and fold it together. Divide the dough into four pieces and roll out each piece into a long stick of about 16 cm.

5. Cut 8 pieces of dough and roll out each piece of dough into a long rod of about 20 cm.

6. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place all the bars on it. Leave to rise for 40 minutes.

7. Turn the oven to 180°C convection.

8. Bake the sticks until golden and crispy.

9. Let them cool and serve with aioli dip.
