Quick homemade marzipan

  • 100 g Svansø Almond flour
  • 1 dl sugar syrup (of ½- ¾ dl cane sugar and ½ dl water)
  • Chocolate for coating
  • Garnish e.g. Svansø Freeze-dried raspberries


1. Boil a sugar syrup of water and cane sugar and let it cool slightly.

2. Mix the almond flour well with the sugar syrup, starting with just over ½ dl. of syrup and adding a little at a time until the consistency is like soft marzipan.

3. Knead the marzipan well, then roll the marzipan into small balls.

4. Dip the balls in melted chocolate and sprinkle with freeze-dried raspberries.

The marzipan can also be used as an ingredient in the homemade confectionery and added flavour as desired.
