Ingredients

Preparation

1. Place the couscous in a large bowl. Pour over the olive oil and boiling water.

2. Stir a little and leave the mixture to infuse for 10-15 minutes.

3. Drain off any excess water.

4. Coarsely chop the mint and parsley and cut the cucumber, tomatoes and onion into small cubes.

5. Add the lemon juice and pressed garlic cloves to the couscous and stir the herbs and vegetables into the mixture.

6. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Tip:
Tabouleh can be served as an accompaniment to Middle Eastern meat dishes, but it also goes well with many meat dishes in our Nordic cuisine.
