Pie with grilled peppers

  • 500 g puff pastry
  • 800 g Svansø Grilled peppers
  • 500 g spinach, thawed
  • 0.5 dl oil from Svansø Grilled peppers
  • 8 eggs, pasteurised
  • 5 dl Danica cuisine 25%
  • Grated nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper


1. Cover the mould with puff pastry.

2. Toast the spinach and grilled peppers in the oil from the grilled peppers.

3. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.

4. Put the filling in the puff pastry.

5. Beat the eggs and Danica Cusine together and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

6. Bake the pie at 200 degrees for about 35 minutes.

Serving suggestions:
- As a stand-alone lunch dish.
- For brunch.
- As a starter with smoked meat, or as part of a buffet.
- As an accompaniment to roast dishes - particularly suitable for veal and beef roasts.
