Autumn tart with apricot porridge and walnuts

  • Dish:
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g Svansø Organic cane sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Filling:
  • 50 g Svansø organic walnut kernels
  • 250 g apricot porridge
  • 1 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 1 small tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • Accessories:
  • Whipped cream, sour cream or Greek yoghurt, possibly mixed with a little vanilla sugar


1. Crumble the butter into the wheat flour, knead with the eggs and cane sugar to form a smooth dough and chill for at least 1 hour.

2. The dough is then rolled out and placed in a greased pie dish (approx. 32 cm in diameter), which is then placed in the freezer for 1 hour.

3. Mix together the walnut crumbs, honey, apricot porridge, cinnamon and eggs and spread over the tart base.

4. Bake the pie at 150 degrees for about 50 minutes.

5. Serve warm or chilled.
